Community Flag Raising in Sussex to Recognize Family Violence Prevention Month

Our government has partnered with the Fergusson Foundation to declare November as Family Violence Prevention Month. This month recognizes the impact that family violence has on individuals, families, workplaces and communities and aims to increase awareness of the resources and supports available to build healthier relationships in our communities.

I was so happy to participate in the flag raising at Sussex town hall to raise awareness about family and domestic violence. Thank you, Sussex Area Domestic Violence Outreach & Sussex Vale Transition House, for all of the very important work you do in our community.
