November is Family Violence Prevention Month

The provincial government has declared November as Family Violence Prevention Month. The declaration is signed each year to renew the government’s commitment to preventing family violence.

If someone you know is struggling with family violence, listen to them, let them know it is not their fault, and encourage them to seek support. Do not be afraid to speak out against family violence. It is important we support one another; anyone of us could be living in this situation.
