13 year old New Brunswick musician, singer Amalia De Los Santos earned a 'Golden Buzzer' on 'Dominicana's Got Talent', a Spanish-language version of the popular TV show created by Simon Cowell.
Sistema NB is a youth orchestra whose mission is to promote the collective practice of music through symphony orchestras in order to inspire children and youth to achieve their potential. Amalia is a Sistema alumni and is now in the finals which airs on TV this Wednesday night.

Amalia's Golden Buzzer Moment:
Amalia and her family moved to Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada from the Dominican Republic a few years ago and became part of the Sistema NB program, which provides daily musical education to young students. She got her first trumpet when she was nine, and progressed to a prestigious spot in the New Brunswick Youth Orchestra in less than 4 years.
