In every community across the province there is an extraordinary group of entertainers who are there for every benefit and fundraiser, or lifting the spirits of seniors at our nursing homes who sometimes don’t have a lot of visitors to look forward to, or simply performing to bring joy to the lives of people who adore their sound. In some of our darkest hours during COVID our musicians have offered hope ane happiness, usually by CD, radio or online shows. Tonight it was a pleasure to be in the Miramichi with MLAs Jeff Carr and Michelle Conroy to celebrate the induction of five new members into the New Brunswick Country Music Hall of Fame. Next year the gala will be held in Sussex with hosts Gary and Tammy Morris.
