What incredible conversations I get to have these days. As minister responsible for sport in the province, last week I participated in a call with provincial, territorial and federal ministers across Canada to discuss safety in sports. Of top importance was the issue of concussions and ways to protect players. It is such a serious, persistent problem in sports that we are tackling with relentless workers for this cause like NHL Hall of Famer Eric Lindros. This hockey legend has been so instrumental as we work toward firm measures to keep athletes healthy.
