The New Brunswick Cookie

Have you heard about the New Brunswick cookie? The idea for a provincial cookie was sparked in the winter at the World Juniors in a conversation between the premier’s wonderful wife Marcia and Jenna of Jenna's Nut-Free Dessertery Inc. Jenna went home and started dreaming up a cookie that would be made using 100% New Brunswick products.

Last week Premier Blaine Higgs and I sampled one, and today during the NB Day celebrations at the Legislature Jenna introduced the New Brunswick cookie….a delicious maple and wild blueberry shortbread.

It is delicious. She started selling them on Tuesday. 🙂
