It's an announcement we've all been waiting for.
ALL provincial COVID-19 restrictions will be lifted on March 14th at 12:01 am. This includes masking regulations, isolation requirements, gathering limits, etc. In line with our neighbouring provinces, New Brunswick's strategy will shift from mandating precautions to encouraging and promoting them in our vulnerable populations.
The requirement to provide proof of vaccination at venues such as restaurants, theatres and gyms will be lifted at 12:01 am this coming Monday, February 28th.
Please note that restrictions such as testing and vaccination requirements at the border will not be affected by these changes as they fall under federal mandates.
