A new provincewide initiative ensures breast density results are shared with New Brunswick women. Results are now included in mammography reports and screening letters sent to women by the New Brunswick Breast Cancer Screening Program.
This is a very important initiative for women’s health in New Brunswick. Kathy Kaufield, a friend and former colleague from my journalism days, has been an excellent leader on this issue through her #TellMe/#DisMoi breast density notification campaign.
