Elgin Health Screening Clinic a Rural Success Story

Our small regions can do the most incredible things. What a success story in Elgin as volunteers, Horizon/UNB Nursing students, and others offering important community resources opened their clinic today to help bridge the health care gap in this rural community. Every month they will be at the Elgin Seniors Centre to help adults living in the region take care of their health by offering free blood pressure and blood sugar checks, and they can also check blood oxygen levels and heart rates and offer other resources people need. What a wonderful initiative. So happy to be invited to visit today with Mayor Peter Saunders, MP Rob Moore and Hon Sherry Wilson, MLA Moncton Southwest/Sud-Ouest.
