The COVID-19 pandemic has shown the importance of improving food security in our province in the event of future outbreaks or pandemics. We must support and leverage our strong agriculture industry, including here in Sussex-Fundy-St. Martins, in order to do so. When re-elected, a PC government will make year-round farming a priority, work with New Brunswick producers to ensure that local food is being provided in our schools and hospitals, and enhance the agriculture workforce with an immigration pilot project in addition to farming education. #UpToTheJob #TeamHiggs
