The 2022 Winter Olympics began on Friday, and we will be rooting for Courtney Sarault of Moncton, who will be competing for Canada in short-track speed skating.
Ryan Hamilton, a mental performance coach and associate professor of psychology from UNB Fredericton, will also be in Beijing, working with the Canadian men’s hockey team.
Grand Digue's Serge LeBlanc will be there too, as the equipment manager for the women's hockey team.
Fredericton-born Brendan Corey will also be at the Olympics, competing for Australia in the men’s speed skating.
Good luck and best wishes to all three of you!
