Sussex Fire Department Banquet

What an amazing fire department we have in Sussex. These men and women are always there when we need them the most, sacrificing themselves and their own family time for training and to respond to calls in our darkest hours. I just have so much respect for what they do for our community.

On Friday night they were celebrated for their dedication and years of service during the Sussex Fire Department banquet. The camaraderie and care among these firefighters was so obvious, and no wonder…last year alone they responded to 297 calls and logged over 6,348 volunteer hours training and responding to fires and other emergencies like floods.
