After two years Truck N’ Treat returned to Sussex Corner Elementary School and I got to return as a judge of the chili contest with village mayor Wayne Wilkins. I just love this job! When I was a reporter I was invited to judge several times and now I get to enjoy the gig as MLA. The event where kids get to dress up and collect treats from operators of vehicles from fire trucks to helicopters is an incredible fundraiser for the home and school association. The school is incredible, its volunteers are exceptional, the staff is the very best, and the students are amazing. Thank you everyone for this special community events.
